The Digital Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a System Support Specialist to work in our Huntsville, AL office. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in support of the NEST Contract mission, providing end-user computing device services to NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver new services to customers, including mobile, print, and computer services.Troubleshoot and resolve assigned customer issues.Interact daily with NASA customers to provide consultation and guidance on NEST services.Perform initial problem identification and troubleshooting of system issues, serving as a primary point of contact for NASA customers.Provide system support and guidance to assist customers with adjusting or obtaining services.Assist end users with hardware and software requests.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.8+ years of Information Technology (IT) support experience.Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.Experience supporting current versions of the Windows operating system.Experience working with current versions of macOS.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of and experience with the NASA desktop computing environment and software suite.Experience using ServiceNow to manage incidents and service requests.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:U.S. Citizenship is required.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
