Hello! We're a warm and welcoming family located in Plainfield, New Jersey, currently looking to hire a reliable sitter. Our family has a 2nd grader with ADHD, and we're seeking someone who can support us with our childcare needs. We also have a cat named Ricardo. This position is par-time, live-out, so it would be ideal for someone local or who has a reliable car as occasional school pick-ups will be required. While the primary focus is on after-school care 2-3 days per week (most of the time I'll also be present as I work from home), there may also be opportunities for additional hours during weekends or when school's out. Experience with gifted or neurodivergent children would be a plus. Our son loves reading, music, martial arts, storytelling and Legos, if these are your interests as well, that would be a good fit. We offer competitive pay at $20-25 per hour, based on experience, and are eager to find someone reliable to work with long-term beginning in September.
